DIDDY’S PAST

Sean Combs, known as “Diddy,” was arrested on September 16, 2024, on charges of “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, detention, arson, drug possession, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

The indictment shared with the public by the court stated that Combs often held “Freak Offs” parties that lasted for days, mostly recorded, at their homes and forced those attending these parties to engage in sexual activities. The indictment also stated that Combs resorted to methods such as threatening to control their careers by using his influence, economic, psychological, verbal, and physical violence towards the individuals he forced to participate in these parties. It was reported that drugs were found in Combs’ homes during searches.

The indictment also stated that Combs offered bribes to witnesses and victims to remain silent or commit perjury. In its decision on October 3, the court sentenced Combs to 4 years and 2 months in prison for “transporting women across state lines for prostitution” and ordered him to pay $500,000 in compensation. The 1910 “Mann Act” in the United States criminalizes the transportation of women or girls “across state lines or in foreign commerce” for “prostitution or debauchery or for any other immoral purpose.”
